Conjoint Survey stores researcher account information, study designs, collaborator emails, respondent link information, response records, and activity records needed to run and document conjoint studies.

Researchers should avoid collecting directly identifying respondent information unless their own IRB, consent language, and research protocol permit it. Information passed through recruitment links, such as participant or study identifiers from survey panels, Qualtrics, or learning-management systems, may be stored for duplicate detection and study management.

If a researcher uses externally hosted logo or stimulus image URLs, the third-party image host may receive respondent IP address, user-agent, and request metadata when the respondent page loads that image. Researchers should use image hosts and consent language appropriate for their study.

Payments and sign-in are handled by trusted service providers. Conjoint Survey does not store full card numbers.

Paid users may choose to send a troubleshooting question to the AI Help feature. The question and selected excerpts from our public guides are sent to OpenAI to generate an answer. Conjoint Survey does not automatically include survey designs, responses, account records, payment information, prior chats, or database contents. We set API responses not to be stored as application state, but OpenAI may retain limited abuse-monitoring logs under its applicable API data controls. Users should not enter respondent data, confidential research, personal information, credentials, or other sensitive material into AI Help.

Conjoint Survey stores AI Help usage counts and limited request timestamps for security and allowance enforcement. It does not store the question or answer as chat history.

Researchers can delete studies and associated response data from the app dashboard. Backups and provider logs may persist for operational security and recovery for a limited period.
