Data Retention

Study records remain available until the researcher deletes them or the account is closed. Deleted studies remove the survey design, responses, sessions, collaborators, analysis runs, and activity logs from the active database.

Researchers can export a study archive before deletion. Archive exports are intended for replication files, preregistration appendices, IRB records, and reviewer documentation.

Operational backups, payment records, sign-in records, provider logs, and database recovery systems may retain limited account or activity information according to those providers' normal retention practices.

AI Help conversations are not saved as chat history by Conjoint Survey. We retain per-account monthly and lifetime usage counters and may retain limited security metadata without the question text. OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring logs according to its API data controls.
